- The award is open to individuals or groups with a genuine interest in horticulture.
- Examples of the award could be for a study tour, project or a piece of research work.
- This award is for £1000, of which £800 will be awarded throughout the project and the final £200 being given on completion.
- A fully planned and costed proposal must be submitted by the closing date of 1st September.
- The project must be completed within 12 months of the award being granted.
- Candidates may be required to attend an interview to present their proposal.
- All proposals submitted will be acknowledged.
- A decision will be made by 1st October and candidates will then be notified of the decision.
- The succesful applicant will be required to present the proposal at the October meeting of the Kent Horticultural Bursary, and then present a full report of the completed project the following year.
